I work for eXile International, a non-profit based here out of Nashville. We work with former child soldiers and other war-affected children in Congo and Uganda, using art and expressive therapy to help them heal from the severe traumas they have experienced in the wars. We sell handmade jewelry made by the women and children over there using recycled paper to help support our work, as well as bring awareness about the wars and the children.
