For most accomplished chefs, it’s an amalgamation of all those experiences, and that’s certainly the case for Andrew Hayes, who holds the reins at the recently opened Barcelona Wine Bar in Edgehill Village.

Barcelona Wine Bar opened earlier this month, serving up Spanish tapas, paellas and plenty of wine out of a sleek, sexy space in Edgehill Village. The restaurant is broken down into four sections, giving it layers and helping it keep a more intimate feel.

 Conde Nast Traveler has named Edgehill Village’s Old Glory as one of the “Best Places for a Perfectly Poured Cocktail.” The honor was mentioned in the story, The Everything Guide to Nashville.

Edgehill Appoints New Executive Chef

Edgehill, one of Edgehill Village’s longest-standing tenants, welcomes Chef Devin Walline to lead its kitchen and develop new menus for the restaurant. Working as executive chef as well as general manager, the new chef brings an extensive amount of experience in both front- and back-of-house roles to his position.  Chef Walline moved to Nashville in April of 2014 and worked 404 Kitchen as the restaurant’s whole-animal butcher and line cook, specializing in preparing food for and assisting at off-site events, before becoming a manager at Nashville staple J. Alexander’s.
